There are lots of games currently in development that we’re really excited about, but perhaps the most exciting game of all right now is Demons Ate My Neighbors!, a co-op horror game which lands on PC and Nintendo Switch next year.

DAMN! is a retro-inspired twin-stick shooter developed by the wicked Turned-Out Games in conjunction with HumanNature Studios and the team that brought us the incredible Toejam & Earl: Back in the Groove. It has been described as the “spiritual sequel to Zombies Ate My Neighbors“, and sees an unsuspecting suburb turned upside down after a mysterious and cursed VHS tape unleashes unforetold horrors on the local residents.

The team behind the game are launching their long-awaited Kickstarter on September 1st, and hope to raise $175,000 to give them the opportunity to create more levels, cool new monsters, and perhaps even port the game to PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X. Pledges begin at $15, but for those of you who want to have a hands-on experience and design your own end of level boss, then you’re looking at a pledge closer to $7,500 – but boy, what a great way to support the project!

We’ll be covering as much Demons Ate My Neighbors! news as it lands, but for now, check out the teaser trailer and get ready to pledge your hard-earned dollars to bring this awesome project to life.
