Another month, another great selection of titles added to XBOX GAME PASS! With such a wealth of titles, your friendly neighbourhood bearded gamer’s have once again cherry-picked a selection that you may have missed. This month we have crazed mutants, hellacious monsters, empires, hobbits and inquisitive robots. Let’s take a look.

Gamers aren’t short of a few post-apocalyptic setting to explore, whether you want to harness your inner Mad Max or just go bat shit crazy with some huge guns, look no further than Rage 2. Take control of the generically named Walker as you fight your way through hoards of memorable mutants to take down a greedy authority to bring order back to your home town.

The third instalment of the popular Darksiders series emerged from limbo thanks to the revival of Vigil Games as Gunfire Games and continues the story of the four horsemen, this time focusing on Fury, who has been tasked with hunting down the seven deadly sin’s. Combat takes a shift from the faster-paced hack’n’slash style from the previous instalments and focuses on a soul’s like experience that still manages to retain the puzzles and exploration the series is known for.

Double-dipping with Gunfire Games, go solo or team up with some friends to take on hoards of monstrous creatures and bosses throughout a randomly generated world. Gunfire once again takes a few cues from the soul’s series but shake things up by focusing more on firearms and more traditional multiplayer co-op and as an added bonus, you don’t lose all your XP when you die.

Tactical Empire building takes a Sci-Fi twist with Planetfall. This 4X Strategy has you create a commander and lead your faction to glory as you engage in diplomacy, launch covert operations and declare war all while managing resources and production in a gritty future setting.

Taking a change of pace towards the philosophical now with The Talos Principle. This narrative-driven puzzler can be played in either first or third person. Taking control of a robot with a human conscience you must explore a variety of environments riddled with over a hundred puzzles.

Vambrace is a narrative-driven roguelike inspired by Castlevania, Elder Scrolls and FTL. Take control of Evelia Lyric as she set’s out to aid a frozen city that has been cursed by the king of shades. Explore the city in a topdown view and build a party to fight the evil hoards in turn-based combat. Anyone who has played Darkest Dungeon will feel right at home here.

One game to rule them all? Not quite, but it’s always a good time when a new Lord of the Rings game is available. This deck-building strategy game is full of original stories and campaigns set in and around the books and movies and features all your favourite characters. Create a deck of heroes and venture forth and stop the evil forces of Sauron in turn-based combat alone or team up with a friend in co-op.

With more than 100 titles on offer at any given month, now is the time to get on board with the best value for money on the gaming market right now!
