Xbox Game Pass – Games you might have missed: October Edition

Another month, another great selection of titles added to XBOX GAME PASS! With such a wealth of titles, your friendly neighbourhood bearded gamer’s have once again cherry-picked a selection that you may have missed. This month we have hoards of zombies, political assassins, high octane racing and role-playing adventures, let’s get started!


World War Z

With Halloween just around the corner, why not grab some friends to take on the hoards of Zombie’s that await you in World War Z. Loosely based on the book and movie of the same name this co-op third-person shooter will take you through locations such as New York, Tokyo and Moscow in a story-driven fight for survival for up to four players.


Dishonored 2

Return to the world of scandal, politics and assassins with Dishonored 2. Take control of Corvo Attano or Emily Kaldwin, each with their own unique set of abilities and powers to master as you seek to reclaim your throne from the evil witch, Delilah Copperspoon. Very few games give this level of freedom on how to progress and complete missions so whether you favour stealth and secrecy or murder and chaos or something in between, there is plenty of fun to be had.


Dirt Rally 2.0

The thirteenth entry in the Colin McRae series speed’s on to game pass with more high octane action set across several locations from Argentina, Poland and New Zealand with a large selection of vehicles to master. Compete in campaign mode or take the action online with on and off-road events and various weather conditions to spice things up.


Lego Worlds

The Lego gaming series has been a favourite for all ages since Lego Star Wars first appeared in 2005. Over the year’s it has released titles for a range of popular franchises and now gives players a vast sandbox to create their own worlds to play in. One to be enjoyed by the whole family.


Bad North

Those pesky Vikings are once again trying to plunder your lands so it’s time to stand tall and fight them off. This strategy puzzler has you managing units of troops to defend a range of islands from the ever-increasing hoards of Northmen. Easy to learn but tricky to master, form the shield wall!


Enter the Gungeon

The game that inspired a genre is now available on Game Pass. Enter the Gungeon has you setting out through challenging chaos-filled levels in the quest for the ultimate weapon, the gun that can kill the past. Battle numerous foes and relentless bosses in bullet hell as you loot your way to victory either solo or with a friend.



Created by former members of RARE, this spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie will tickle those nostalgic taste buds. Full of platforming goodness and cute characters you control both a chameleon “Yooka” his bat friend “Laylee” as you solve puzzles, collect items and venture through a colourful land.


Fallout: New Vegas

Obsidians entry into the Fallout universe saw improvements to many gaming mechanics while retaining the core style of the long-running series. New Vegas put’s you in control of “The Courier” after being ambushed, robbed and left for dead you set out across the wasteland to the sound of some catchy tunes to find the ones who robbed you. Join factions, make friends and enemies and make choices that will determine which of the four endings you wind up with. And if this Obsidean classic isn’t enough for you then look no futher…


The Outer Worlds

That’s right, Gamepass does it again by giving its members one of the most highly anticipated games of the year on launch day! From October 25th you can play Obsidians new Sci-Fi RPG The Outer Worlds. Create a character and venture out into a new galaxy that’s bound to be filled with memorable characters, crazy plot lines, great soundtracks and hours of fun! How’s that for a slice of fried gold!


With more than 100 titles on offer at any given month, now is the time to get on board with the best value for money on the gaming market right now!
