Did Marvel Plagiarise the X-Men Theme Tune?

The creators of the incredible, X-Men: The Animated Series have come under fire today after being accused of plagiarising the theme tune to one of their most iconic animated spinoffs.

For 27 years, the theme tune to X-Men: The Animated Series has been referred to as the greatest theme tune of all time, as a masterpiece, like lightning in a bottle. However, the world was turned upside down and inside out today when a representative of the estate of composer Gyorgy Vukan accused Marvel, Saban, Disney, Fox, and others stole the basis for the tune from that well known ’80s Hungarian crime drama Linda The Policewoman.

We’re simply not qualified to make an assessment, but of all the things to break on the anniversary of Wolverine’s creation … well, we just don’t know what to think anymore.
