This week’s episode started out with Breezango vs Chase Parker and Matt Martel. Breezango 2.0 was in full effect here with new entrance music and a sexy cop theme. Gone is the model shtick. Breezango would win with their slingshot into a forearm into an elbow drop combo. Which has now been given the name Fashion Faux Pas. This NXT crowd is eating up Breezango getting back together.

Next we see Jordan Myles and Keith Lee making their way to the arena. Myles is asked how he feels about the match with Cole for the NXT Championship. He says he’s nervous but this is an opportunity of a lifetime and once his music hits his confidence will be there. Keith Lee tells him he should have all the confidence in the world since he just recently arrived in NXT.

We then see a quick segment of Io Shirai attacking Candice LeRae in the parking garage with a Kendo stick before WWE officials break it up.

After that, there’s a segment with Cameron Grimes. He is not happy about not winning the Breakout Tournament. He adds that he wanted to go straight to the top but now is back at the bottom and that his goal is to get back to the top and be the champion.

The second match of the show was Velveteen Dream vs Kona Reeves. Reeves would do a good job keeping up with Dream but made a mistake arguing with the ref after trying to hold the ropes while pinning Dream. While this was happening, Dream would connect with two superkicks then deliver his Dream Valley Driver to get the win.

While Dream is still in the ring, Roderick Strong shows up on the screen. He has Dream’s couch throne engulfed in flames and asks if he has his attention now.

The third match was Taynara Conti vs Bianca Belair. Belair’s athleticism was on full display here. We saw front flips, backflips, kip-ups. And all of them looked effortlessly like she was tying a shoe. Belair would win with her KOD finisher.

The main event was Jordan Myles vs Adam Cole for the NXT Championship. This was a great match that showcased Myle’s potential as a top card guy. In the end, Cole would bring up his knees to block Myles 450 splash then deliver his Last Shot to retain his title.
