AEW: ALL OUT – Preview and Predictions

Reading Time ~ 3 minutes

We are on the final stop before AEW makes it’s heavily hyped debut on TNT and yes ITV4 in front of what they are hoping will be millions of fans every single week. The build to ALL OUT has been excellent thanks to their presence on YouTube with weekly editions of Being The Elite and Road to All Out. The recent loss of Jon Moxley, temporarily that is, to injury has seemingly not deterred from any hype that has gone into the build for the event, and what a card it is. Let’s take a look…

The inaugural AEW champion will finally be crowned when Chris Jericho battles Adam ‘Hangman’ Page in the main event of the show. It goes without saying that this is the most important match in AEWs short history so far and will surely dictate the pace of their product when they launch on TV in October. This will either be an instant classic or a passable encounter. That is not a knock of both men as both are incredible in the ring but could a clash of styles be on the cards here? Probably and hopefully not. As for the winner, and this is a tough one, we see the first champion going into TV being Chris Jericho.

The loss of Moxley sees Pac make his long-awaited debut against Kenny Omega. A match that has been in the making ever since the former Neville left WWE, and what a match this is sure to be, see’s both men take centre stage and what could be the match of the night on what is a deep card of action. We see Omega taking the win here but it will be a close one. Time will tell on whether Pac is sticking around or not.

In what could be their final encounter for the time being, The Young Bucks and The Lucha Bros will test themselves in a ladder match for the AAA tag titles. The chemistry these two seems have is beyond exceptional and never seem to have a bad match when they opposite the ring from each other. Dangerous. That is the word we will no doubt be using when we recap the show and with good reason. Look for a new level of madness to be set in the aftermath of this bout. We can’t wait! Oh yeah as for the winners, we see the AAA titles staying in Mexico with Pentagon Jr and Rey Fenix.

One match that is writer is looking forward to above all else is Cody Rhodes vs Shawn Spears. The build and backstory for this has been compelling and when you add in Tully Blanchard as ‘Advisor’ to Spears with his history with the Rhodes family, all the dynamics are there for what could be an extremely emotional and gruelling encounter. AEW seem to be fully behind turning Spears into the star many feel he was always meant to be so a win for him is where we are going here. There are 4 matches here with a good chance of stealing the show, we are being spoilt for sure as AEW truly are going ALL OUT. Let’s predict the rest of the card…

  • Best Friends defeat The Dark Order
  • Darby Allin beats Joey Janela and Jimmy Havoc
  • Private Party defeat Angelico and Jack Evans
  • Rhio beats Hikaru Shida
  • SCU defeat Jungle Boy, Marko Stunt and Luchasaurus
  • Sadie Gibbs wins the 21 Women Battle Royale

ALL OUT is sure to be an incredible night of action as the eyes of the wrestling world, and that includes you Vinnie Mac, will be watching. Will you? Of course, you will!!!
