TBG Champion of the Month Award – June 2019

At TBG we want to help support and develop our team. The key to achieving that goal is through empowerment, allowing everyone to create quality content when they want and how they want. As a sign of our appreciation, we will select a member of the team each month to be our site champion. This will be based on a number of factors including articles published, involvement, ideas and we’ll even give a shout out to our newest members from time to time. So without further ado, this months champion is:




Since joining TBG back in February of this year the breadROLL has become an integral part of the team. To date, he has ‘knocked out’ over 30 articles, reviews and has even created his own monthly update highlighting some of the best games available on Microsofts Game Pass service. In fact, it was the most read article last month. We salute you!

Daring you to risk it all as you progress through 6 worlds filled with all manner of nasty villains and bosses to overcome, in this land death is permanent and Groundhog Day syndrome is not too far away. The six worlds feature procedurally generated levels, so no two runs are ever truly the same as you may be fighting through multiple levels armed and buffed like Schwarzenegger eating green berets for breakfast before reaching a boss chamber in one playthrough only to reach it on your next play with only 1HP and a pistol to your name. Each world has its specific enemy types, but these will also spawn in different formations and quantities to keep you on your toes. Read more…


Box Align – Nintendo Switch Review


Box Align is a relaxing state of mind puzzler that is simplistic in design yet challenging enough to keep you engaged. The concept is simple, align some boxes (then it’s not just a clever name) to clear the screen. These boxes must be aligned with a minimum of three of matching colour in a straight row. Each level will present you with a configuration of boxes which you must move one at a time with the catch being that each move must result in an alignment that will clear a line of boxes until all are gone. Read more…
