Harry Potter fans can finally stop fiddling with their golden snitches at last, as the long-awaited Pokémon Go–style Wizards Unite AR game has finally been given a concrete release date – and it’s very soon!
After delays of almost 12 months, Nintac were finally able to confirm that fans of the cash cow fantasy series will be able to hunt for Horcruxes and battle rival wizards from the comfort of their own front garden, when the game launches on June 21st – just 2 days from now.
Wizards Unite will be free-to-play, but as with most mobile games these days will rely heavily on microtransaction which allows players to buy gold which can then be exchanged for potions, wand extensions and all manner of other goodies.
The announcement was also accompanied by a new trailer, which you can check out below. We’ll have a full review of the app in the coming weeks.
