Arcade Games You Need To Play

  1. I’ll admit that as a 90s kid growing up in a rural town with no arcade access, I’ve played very few of these. I will probably be using this list in the future to find some stuff I missed out on!

      1. Wheres Metal slug or Samurai showdown ?
This top 50′ needs to be sorted out big time haha

    1. You’re right, there’s some amazing titles – not a difficult list to compile really, considering how many excellent arcade titles were produced back in the day.

  2. Whenever I go to the arcade here in Japan, I play Taiko no Tatsujin. It’s a great way to work up a sweat!
I don’t think I’ve ever played a retro arcade cabinet though… don’t hate on me haha.

    1. Virtua Racing (not Virtual) as in Virtua Fighter. Crazy Taxi deserves a spot there as well imo.

  3. I’m not a big fan of arcades to be honest. But I’m here to share how to earn money playing games. Sounds good right? Well, I present to you a way to get familiar with that by paying monthly subscription to certain ways to make a career from it. Don’t worry, first month is only 1 dollar, when you catch everything and start earning nice bucks, you pay 27 dollars per month. It’s not a scam, so just try it right now, or you don’t have a dollar or 27 to lose? https://133c24ya1-mz3wd2lcpbhukye6.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=GAMESTESTER1

  4. The fact that you SOMEHOW left out Robotron 2084, just about the greatest arcade game ever made, is mind-blowing to me.

  5. Good list. Double dragon and Golden Axe get due recognition! Don’t know happened to your Outrun screenshot. Whatever dog turd you put up there it is not a pic from the arcade edition of Outrun.

  6. Thanks for this list… I grew up in a big city in the 80’s and 90’s and have played most of these games. Now to track down the few I haven’t.

  7. Missing are Asteroids, Defender, and Missile Command…. there are quite a few on there that these 3 staples should replace….
