Back in 1998 Sega released their last hurrah in the form of the Dreamcast. We know what came next, despite a fantastic library of games, consumers decided to wait for the impending release from Sony with their PlayStation 2. Helped in no small part with the inclusion of a DVD player, at a time when the media was taking off and a standalone player would have cost a fraction less than a PlayStation 2. The bastard company EA drove the final nail into the coffin with their absence of support, odd at the time considering their significant support of the Megadrive in the past.
Recently producer of Sega Ages (the collection of Megadrive games which has been released on Microsoft and Sony’s consoles and is due imminently on Switch) Kagasei Shimomura, was quoted that, based upon the success of the aforementioned title he would like to bring Saturn and Dreamcast games to the Switch.
“We will extend this initiative to the Saturn and Dreamcast with your continued support”

Shenmue collection is due later this month on Xbox and PS4 however not on the Switch, which in my opinion would be a great fit.
Nintendo Switch is more than capable of running some high-resolution ports of Dreamcast classics and it would also breathe some new life into some older franchises which beg to be brought back from the dead.
Below is a brief list of some of the games I would love to have the chance to play again on the Switch and some which I would desperately love to see brought back to life with sequels or updates. Feel free to throw some suggestions into the comments, you never know Sega may be reading this.
- Jet Set Radio
- Power Stone
- Skies Of Arcadia
- Sega Bass Fishing (complete with motion controls, or using Labo)
- Samba De Amigo (motion controls)
- and even Chu-Chu Rocket
